Slime Activator

Each slime order includes a small bag of borax so you can make your own slime activator.

To Make Activator

Mix 1 teaspoon of borax with 1 cup of warm water and stir until completely dissolved.

If Your Slime Is Too Sticky

Add just a few drops of activator at a time and knead thoroughly. Repeat as needed until your slime reaches your desired texture. A little goes a long way!

If Your Slime Is Too Firm or Dry

Add a small pump of unscented lotion, a drop or two of glycerin, or a tiny amount of foaming hand soap. Knead well and repeat if needed until your slime is soft and stretchy again.

Clean Hands Matter

Always play with your slime using clean hands. Be sure to wash your hands after playing as well. Slime ingredients may cause irritation for those with sensitive skin.

Storage Tip

Always store your slime in its airtight container when you’re not playing with it. This helps keep it fresh and stretchy for longer. Avoid leaving slime in direct sunlight, hot cars, or other warm areas, as heat can affect the texture.

Temperature Matters

Slime naturally reacts to changes in temperature. Warm weather may make your slime softer or stickier, while colder temperatures may make it firmer. This is completely normal and can easily be adjusted with activator or lotion.

Protect Your Belongings

Always play with your slime on a clean, smooth surface. Avoid placing slime on carpet, clothing, furniture, bedding, or other fabrics, as slime may stick or leave residue.

Slime Has a Lifespan

Handmade slime naturally changes over time with use and exposure to air. Proper care and storage will help keep your slime fresh and enjoyable for as long as possible.

Keep out of reach of small children and pets. Adult supervision is recommended for young children.

Slime contains small parts that may present a choking hazard. Not recommended for children under 3 years of age.
